The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), in collaboration with the Nigeria in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) Ghana, has been actively involved in rescuing and repatriating Nigerian citizens trafficked to Ghana.

The Nigerian in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) champions the rights and welfare of Nigerians abroad. NIDO Africa, the continental branch, connects Nigerians across Africa and contributes meaningfully to Nigeria's and the continent's development.

NIDO Africa connects Nigerians in Africa with each other and their homeland to share ideas and collaborate on impactful initiatives.

NIDO Africa drives business partnerships, trade missions, and investment forums—bridging Nigerian and African entrepreneurs with opportunities that spur economic cooperation and regional growth.

Capacity Building

Through scholarships, internships, and training, NIDO Africa empowers Nigerians in the diaspora with education and skills to give back to their homeland.

Advocacy & Policy

The organization promotes smart remittance usage and philanthropy, empowering SMEs and social projects across Nigeria and Africa.

Fighting Human Trafficking

NIDO Africa rescued over 800 victims in a single year. Now, the organization is building a safe shelter and training center to rehabilitate and empower survivors.
